Condition

Pile generally good, near original 1/6 inch with dark browns oxidized to knotheads and a few minor foldwear areas also low to knotheads and spot foundation. Very minor repiled, faded foldwear areas. Original 3 cord red wool selvages. Upper end with remnants of flatwoven finish, now with burlap band sewn to reverse. Lower end with losses to outer end guard stripe, now secured with chainstitch. Supple handle, lustrous wool, sound fabric and good condition.
