Condition

5'9" x 4'7" rug: pile generally low to knotheads overall with some areas showing spot foundation, oxidized dark browns and foldwear, some with old, faded repiling. Upper end guard borders with one area having restitched holes and slits. Lower end secured with chainstitch. Sides later reselvaged. Very supple handle, will enhance with cleaning, sound fabric and condition. 5'5" x 3'7" rug: pile ranges from 1/10 in matted down and with oxidized browns and scattered foldwear low to knotheads. Small 1/2 by 1/2 inch reweave lower end of field. Sides with original 2 cord ivory cotton selvages, now with small areas fraying. Lower right corner with small reweave. Lower end partial outer guard stripe, fraying slightly, generally secured with blanket stitch. Upper end with rewoven corners and rewoven end guard stripe. Flexible handle, sound fabric and condition. Will enhance with cleaning.
