Condition
Pile ranges from approximately 1/6 inch with areas of scattered wear low to knotheads.
Small reweaves in lower right corner, largest 6 x 4 inches; a smaller, 2 x 2 inch, reweave in the field. Scattered spot stains and discolorations.
Upper quarter of carpet is much less faded than lower three quarters and has near original pile.
Original selvages intact; ends with small losses to outer surround, now secured with a blanket stitch.
Supple handle, lustrous wool, good overall condition.
