worked in polychrome wools and silks with floral and foliate motifs and small birds, comprising of a small cushion centred with birds and fruting stems (40cm. by 46cm), applied with cerise wool pom-pom braid edges, and rectangular floral cushion (39cm. by 57cm.) applied with tasselled braid, another rectangular cushion, 18th century, with exotic birds and dragons amongst flowers, on sable ground (43cm. by 58cm.) applied with tasselled braid, and a square geometric cushion (43cm. by 43cm.) applied with pale blue piping (4)
Condition
All generally in good condition. Some small repairs and loss of threads in areas to all.

a rectangular floral cushion (39cm. by 57cm.) with plain caramel coloured polyester backing;
a rectangular cushion with exotic birds and dragons (43cm. by 58cm.) with cerise and salmon floral damask backing;
and a square geometric cushion (43cm. by 43cm.) with golden yellow floral damask backing.
