Provenance

Nostell Priory, Yorkshire This table is probably the original dining table provided for James Paine's Franco-Italian dining room and is probably the "large mahogany dining table" in the the Entrance Hall, listed in a valuation of 1818.

Condition

The finely figured top with repairs and restorations. Strenegething butterfly strut inset to the underside. Old marks and scratches.
