Condition
Generally 4mm pile with some areas of pile down to foundation, as visible in the area of blue and red ground respectively to the central area, and in the corners. Largely original overcast double side cords. Some sections with later overcasting in different colours to original. Some sections of side cords visible as overcasting is loose. Irregular and distressed ends, without overlocking and fringes lacking, with some vestiges. Some small areas of repiling for example within the blue ground of the central section, and in a strip to one corner along running horizontally with the end guard. Overall an attractive piece.
