text: surah al-duha (XCIII), part of verse 4 to end of surah (verse 11)Arabic manuscript on vellum, 7 lines to the page written in bold kufic script in brown ink, vocalisation marked by red and green dots, verses separated by gold rosettes, fifth and tenth verses marked by large floral roundel enclosing the words khamsa and 'ashr, the verso with a sura heading extending into the wide outer margin with an elaborate floral and leafy illumination
Condition
In fair overall condition, nibbles to edges, some small stains and worm holes, verso text rubbed, otherwise ink strong, as viewed.
