Arabic manuscript on paper, 82 leaves, 16 lines to the page, written in an elegant forward slanting Maghribi script in brown ink on cream paper, headings and keywords in red ink, morocco binding decorated on either side with a central octagon tooled with interlacing tendrils and surrounded by quatrefoil motifs

A copy of the same work, dated 1814 AD, is in the British Library (6905/2), published in C. Baker, Subject Guide to the Arabic Manuscripts in the British Library, London, 2001, p.361). Both the British and Wellcome Libraries have copies of another of Ibn Sallum's works, Ghayat Al-Itqan fi Tadbir Badan Al-Insan.
