with gaping jaws, emerging from a slender cabriole support sheathed in acanthus leaves.

Condition
Good and as shown; ears chipped, the proper left ear (not shown) more so than the right. Paw chipped, and the proper right side of it is missing. Other minor chips.
Surface somewhat worn, and it has recently been slightly darkened to make it less white (catalogue photo gives a fairly accurate idea of the color)
