- An Egyptian Pottery Jar Vase with Boats, Palm Fronds, and other Nilotic Motifs

- Height 4 1/2 in. 11.4 cm.
of ovoid form painted in reddish brown with a many-oared boat on each side, a palm branch at the prow, two cabins on the deck, lines indicating water(?) below, fan shapes and "s"s under the handles,and concentric wavy lines on the base.

Condition
Two minor chips on underside of rim, one quarter of red-painted zigzag line has worn off on top of rim, one hadnle has minor chip and worn paint as well, white chalky substance overall covers more of the boat motif on side not shown in catalogue.
