standing on a rectangular base, his hands emerging from his beaded shroud, and wearing a broad collar and wide tripartite wig with mortise for insertion of a headdress, a column of inscription in front, three columns on the back pillar, the upper part of the pillar with covered compartment for insertion of a papyrus or corn mummy.

American private collection, acquired in the 1950s or earlier

Condition

Areas of losses to paint overall, most conspicuous on chin, top of wig, proper right elbow, and top of feet; whole figure is very dirty and could probably be cleaned to reveal brighter colors; back panel slides out to reveal cavity.
