Condition

Good condition, lined; under UV: some retouching in certain areas particularly the clothing on the men, the gun, and the well, otherwise fine. Please note that the amended title is "Washington Irving Reading Knickerbocker's History of New York on the Porch of Sunnyside.” As Irving never married, the woman on the porch is not his wife. His brother Ebenezer moved to Sunnyside with his five daughters. As such, the woman on the porch is quite possibly Irving’s niece.
