with convave back, finely carved with a raven, surmounted in turn by a crouching bear, and a shaman figure holding a worm-like creature in his hands.

Condition

A minor break at the top of the pole as evidenced in the catalogue illustration. A 9 in. hairline split on the back, does not go through to the front. Small v-shaped chip on the base. Typical wear for its age. No trace of pigments. An old Hook for hanging on the reverse.
