The parasol constructed of silk and lace depicting a monogram and floral motif, the top set with rose-cut diamonds and applied with enamel, the handle composed of tortoise, the gold base applied with enamel depicting putti within an ornate background, the bottom forms a monogram, set with rose-cut diamonds, handle fully extended measuring approximately 22¾ inches, two diamonds missing.

Condition

Some enamel chips to the central band (not seen in catalogue illustration) all other enameled parts in good condition. Diamonds are approximately near colorless, VS to SI clarity. Fabric in good condition in light of its age, the lace somewhat yellowed with a few areas of soiling. The tortoise segments in very good condition. The tortoishell handle folds in half for storage.
