Description

  • stone
of unusual slender and tapering form perhaps indicating use as a bloodletter, the stylized figure with triangular head, mouth open as if chanting, and with drilled eyes, pierced ears and wearing a headband with projecting plume, the arms carved in relief on the torso; pierced at the back of the neck, in veined greenstone.
