the shaped gallery above a pair of cupboard doors to the front opening to a shelf above a sliding shelf centered by a brass bail handle and serpentine shaped apron, the side panels pierced with a hand hold, raised on molded square legs. Underside of the commode drawer with yellow chalk CA / 1760 / 471 / 96891 / 7gn/ c / 229. 2 pieces.
Condition
The first in overall fair condition; perishing to finish throughout; the top with two long thin age cracks and slight warpage; rubbing and wear to the gallery; the left door with large chip to the central edge meeting the other door; the back panel with a long infilled age crack and with some smaller age cracks; left side panel with long infilled age cracks running on either side of the handle; two further age cracks to left side panel; right side panel with some age cracks; old worm damage to blocks of interior; the pull out drawer with a later panel; right foot of sliding drawer with a later wheel, the left foot lacking wheel; chips and losses to corner of front left leg; staining to the front panels with some water damage and perishing to finish.
The other with perishing to finish of top and with rubbing and wear to the corners of the legs; inpainted age cracks to side panels and to back panel; chip to top of front panel beneath the gallery; old marks and scratches, scuffs and bruises.
