- body and cover with maker's mark and French control mark for articles of mixed gold and silver, body signed Cartier Paris Londres New York, circa 1935
- silver, lacquer, nephrite, enamel, gold, jasper, coral
- 11.5cm
the silver body of ribbed hemi-cylindrical form with red lacquer sides, raised on two shaped bracket jade supports studded with cabochon corals, the hinged black enamel cover inlaid with gold straps and set with matching corals, the pink hardstone handle carved as a shaped scroll
