Condition

Overall in very good condition. The desk appears to have been repainted long ago, and shows remnants of the original red color adjacent to the losses in paint. The base of the desk with scattered losses throughout, heaviest at the lower portions of the feet. Some minor oxidation to the metal. The wood top with some shallow nicks and scratches. The chromium-plated lower portions of the feet with scratches. This desk model could have been configured at the time of production with drawers and therefore the underside of the frame with holes for additional screws. This model does not appear to lack the case elements, but the design was made to accommodate for the adaptation.
