Condition

Overall very good condition. The patinated bronze standard of the base with small areas of discoloration and oxidation, which appear slightly green in tone. Surface dirt throughout. There is an area of residue to the one edge of the top of the base. The metal shade with surface scratches and one area of green oxidation, all of which are visbible in the catalogue illustration. The metal shade appears to be a rare period variaitn, instead of the tradition Daum glass and another example of themodel was offered in the Dray collection at Christie’s Paris a few years ago. The plastic liner with some slight discoloration and is an offwhite color with a single vertical seam. With a later plastic diffuser which rests on the top edge of the liner. Currently with US configured plug. Historic provenance.
