Bon état général.
La toile n'est pas ré-entoilée. Après examen à la lampe de wood, une ligne d'environ 2.5 cm de retouches en rouge est visible le long de l'angle inférieur gauche. Il y a une griffure horizontlae d'environ 3 cm réparée au pigment rouge du quart supérieur gauche, parallèle à l'épaule du personnage (visible à l'illustration du catalogue). Deux autres petites parties retouchées vers le centre du bord gauche et deux autres endroits d'environ 1 x 1 cm ou l'on voit des retrouches au pigment rouge vers le centre supérieur du quart gauche.

Good overall condition.
The canvas is not lined. Examination under UV light reveals a 2.5cm line of retouching in the red pigment along the lower left edge. There is a 3cm-long horizontal scratch that has been repaired in the red pigment of the upper lelt quadrant, in line with the figure’s shoulder (as visible in the catalogue illustration). Two other small nail-head-sized spots of retouching towards the centre left edge and two 1x1cm spots of retouching in the red pigment in the centre of the upper left quadrant.
