Description

  • 28 cm; 37.5 cm; 26.5 cm
the lid opening to a cedar-lined interior, the casket decorated with relief plaques of amorous couples to front and reverse and with historical scenes to the sides, each corner with male and female term figures.

Condition

Overall in good original condition with minor traces of mildew to lid and top of casket edges; loss of ebony molding to front right side of upper frieze; no key; the ivory with dirt and minor hairline cracks.
