each figure signed with the initials J.G., the base of the female figure inscribed MARIA DUCISSA / BURGUNDIAE MAX:VXOI the base of the male figure inscribed ARTUS / DUX BELLORUM.

Condition

Overall good condition; loss of flower to female figure's proper right hand; loss to part of the strand of pearls to female figure; the male figure in good condition with loss to sword; overall with areas of dirt in crevices with light rubbing and overall wear and with slight discoloration to the ivory.
