  • Elephant, African, silver
  • heights 12 1/4 in, 11 3/4 in.
  • 31.2cm, 30.4cm,
one wearing an antlered helmet and holding a shield with a displayed eagle armorials on openwork octagonal base, the other with plumed helmet holding a halberd and shield on an armorial decorated base, both with ivory faces

Condition

the second knight may have had a feather plume on top of his helmet, otherwise good condition
