fitted with three frieze drawers.
Condition
Overall good condition; the cross-banded top with a patch to the veneer to front left corner and a loss to the veneer to back left corner; scratches to later silvered-tooled green leather top and with lifting to edges.; small loss to veneer to top left corner of central drawer and loss to veneer to inner canted sides of legs; lock plate to right frieze drawer lacking and now filled in with a wood block; top of back right sabot broken at the top at join with screw hole and slightly loose; the gilt-bronze cleaned and retaining original gilding with small areas of dirt and tarnishing in places; the gilt-bronze molded edge to top with rubbing and wear and slight losses to gilding consistent with touching. the gilt-bronze bandings to edges of frieze and legs with some lifting and in need of tightening.
