- height 37 1/4 in.; width 5 ft. 6 1/4 in.; depth 24 in.
- 94.5 cm; 168.5 cm; 61 cm
surmounted by a brèche violette marble top, fitted with three frieze drawers, the vanteaux opening to long shelf, casting mark A.M and number 6293 to loop laurel-cast handles.
Condition
The marble top with light scratches to surface and with minor chips to all edges; back right corner with a restored chip approximately 2 inches in length showing old glue; new nails visible to leaf-cast banded mounts; there are two repairs to the veneer to the bottom left side of the vantaux as visible in the catalogue illustration; scratches and lifting to veneer to top edge of each vanteaux; tarnishing to gilt-bronze, pull handles to central frieze drawers are later; some perishing to the finish of the flame-figured mahogany veneers.
