  • comprising: two Hair Brushes, two Clothes Brushes, Hand Mirror, covered Powder Jar, Comb, large Pin Tray, in silver-mounted fitted box lined in green velvet, dresser set and box fully marked, case mounts by George Betjeman & Sons, London, 1905
  • gold, wood, ivory, turtle

each chased with shellwork, scrolls and sprigs of flowers against a matted ground, brushes, mirror and comb edged in lattice, the brushes, mirror and powder jar with matching rococo cartouches enclosing applied script initials GJ, the fitted wood box with silver strapwork mounts to cover and keyhole

Condition

comb with two teeth broken off, the gold with two small holes probably for mount now missing, mirror with two chips at edges, overall good condition, chasing crisp
