fitted with two frieze drawers opposed  by two dummy drawers.

Condition

Overall good condition; the gilt-tooled leather-lined top appears to be original and with discoloration, stains, and usual scratches and scuffs and with losses and wear to the gilding; rubbing and some losses to the gilding to the foliate-cast gilt-bronze banding to top showing the reddish color of the bronze to highlights in places; retaining its original gilding; old repaired break to top of front left leg at join with frieze; top of all legs with inpainting; cracks to top of back right leg; tarnishing to the gilt-bronze sabots, minor dirt and rubbing to chutes and to mounts of frieze.
