Catalogue Note

The table top of the present lot is centered by an engraved brass Princely coat of arm celebrating the wedding of Elisabeth Berthier de Wagram (1885-1960) and Henri Prince de la Tour d'Auvergne-Lauraguais (1876-1914) in 1904. It is likely that the table was given to the couple as a present or was simply part of the lavish marriage decoration.
