ovoid form, applied in high relief with swags of fruit between satyr masks from which rise scroll handles spreading into grapevine at the neck and capped by fully modeled salamanders, the octagonal base engraved with contemporary Old English JC, fitted circa 1890 with a removable silver-plated oil lamp in two sections with etched and frosted glass globe
