Condition

The canvas has been relined. There are scattered areas of stable craquelure, notably in the left and right figures' hair, and in the right figure's face. There are some strokes of retouching visible under ultraviolet light along the extreme left, right, and upper edges addressing frame abrasion, and some other minor spots in the hair of the left and and right figures addressing the craquelure, in the central figure's chest, and the face of the right-hand figure. Apart from light surface dirt the work is in overall good condition, and is ready to hang. Held in a decorative, white and gold-painted wooden frame.
