Exhibited

Munich 1909

Condition

Original canvas. There are no signs of retouching visible under ultraviolet light. Apart from yellowing of the varnish, scattered fine surface dirt and a faint horizontal stretcher mark running along the lower edge of the canvas, this work is in good original condition, with fine detail and rich tones, and would improve greatly with a light professional cleaning. Held in a simple, wide, dark wood frame with a gold-painted, narrow inner accent.
