Condition
Original canvas. There are scattered spots of retouching visible under ultraviolet light, notably to the upper left, partially obscured by an uneven varnish. Apart from a fleck of paint loss to the upper left and scattered spots of blooming to the surface, this work is in very good condition, with rich tones and fine detail, and ready to hang. Held in a decorative, gold-painted moulded plaster and wood frame, under glass.
