Condition

The following condition report was kindly provided by Simon Parkes Art Conservation, Inc.: This painting is in beautiful condition. It has not been removed from its original stretcher. The paint layer is clean and lightly varnished. Under ultraviolet light a few retouches are visible in the ground in front of the figure's feet addressing some slight thinness and in the sky there are a few dots which have been nicely applied, mainly in the upper center. There do not appear to be any restorations in the figure herself, nor in the remainder of the picture. The painting should be hung as is.
