Condition
STRUCTURE
The board is sound with no sign of cracking or warping. The paint surface is in good overall condition; there are traces of surface dirt however and a few small sections of craquelure in the clouds, upper left.
ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
UV light reveals a couple of patches of old retouching to the sky, upper left and to the water lower right.
FRAME
Under glass and held in a plaster gilt with one chip to the giltwork to the left edge, otherwise fair condition.
