Condition

STRUCTURE: This painting is unlined and in excellent original condition with no visible craquelure. The varnish has discoloured and the painting may therefore benefit from a light surface clean. UNDER ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT The varnish appears opaque but there are no obvious signs of retouching. FRAME This picture is contained in an ebonised Old Master-style frame (in good condition).
