Condition
STRUCTURE
This picture is unlined and in very good condition with strong colours throughout. There are two small repairs towards the centre of the left edge. The canvas has undulated slightly and may benefit from being restretched. There is some fine craquelure and stretcher marks. The picture may benefit from a light clean as the paint surface is slightly dirty and has a discoloured varnish.
UNDER ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT
There are areas of minor retouching to a small area of paint loss at the lower edge and pin-holes to the canvas in the upper right quadrant and towards the right edge.
FRAME
Held in a decorative gold painted frame in fair condition.
