STRUCTURE
These drawings are in good condition with no holes, tears or creases. They would all benefit from being cleaned as they are slightly soiled and cockled. Four of these drawings are laid down at the paper-edges but could be removed easily.

Catalogue Note
These drapery studies were made in preperation for Captive Andromache of 1886-8 (Manchester City Art Galleries). One was also used for the single figure of Electra at the Tomb of Agamemnon of 1888-9 (Ferens Art Gallery, Hull).
