2 handcolored engraved plates with etching and aquatint (38 x 25 1/4 in.; 967 x 642 mm), extracted from The Birds of America (London, 1827–1838), after Audubon by Robert Havell, numbered plate 68 and plate ccccxiv. Good impressions, plate 414 with fresh coloring, generous margins; plate 68 with mat burn and other light browning, plate 414 with very light offsetting, light horizontal crease, slight paper loss at left margin due to extraction from bound volume. Floated and glazed in handsome gilt frames.
