2 handcolored engraved plates with etching and aquatint (38 x 25 1/2 in.; 967 x 648 mm), extracted from The Birds of America (London, 1827–1838), after Audubon by Robert Havell, numbered plate cxliii and plate clvii. Good impressions, fresh coloring, generous margins; plate 143 with some marginal soiling and slight paper loss at left margin due to extraction from bound volume, plate 157 with paper restoration at top margin (not affecting image). Floated and glazed in handsome gilt frames.
