3 handcolored engraved plates with etching and aquatint (38 x 25 1/4 in.; 967 x 642 mm; plate 80 with horizontal orientation), extracted from The Birds of America (London, 1827–1838), after Audubon by Robert Havell, numbered plate lxxx, plate cxciv, and plate cccliii. Good impressions, plate 80 bright and vivid, generous margins; slight paper loss to top margin of plate 80 due to extraction from bound volume, plates 194 and 353 slightly faded and with light mat burn (not affecting images). Floated and glazed in handsome gilt frames.
