Condition

Canvas is lined. Surface: pigment separation throughout. Some flattened craquelure. Sky slightly abrated. Uneven varnish. Sky and lower left corner slightly abrated. Some discolored old repaint at top center edge. Under UV: significant repaint in the sky including a 'L' shaped tear begining at top center (far left edge of the tree) slightly visible with naked eye. Scattered repaint throughout landscape including outline of oval shape tear about 7 by 3 in. in trees at left also slightly visible with naked eye. Varnish addressing a 6 in. diameter circular area lower left quadrant. Additional 2 by 3 in. patch of repaint lower center by water's edge.
