Condition
Overall the condition of the columns is very good. There is some minor wear and dirt consistent with age. Each column consists of two parts: a base and the shaft. There are minor chips and restorations to the tops and undersides of the shafts. Three of the marble slabs at the sides of the base for the red marble shaft are loose but can be easily reattached. There are several small chips to the edges of the bases. The spirally turned white column on a later stepped Gris Sainte Anne marble circular base and square socle.
