Condition

Although both panels are in stable condition there are losses to the leading and cracks consistent with age. The clear sections around the figures are all replacements. There is some scratching to the perspex sheets. A panel with drapery to St. Margeret's proper left has been replaced. There is a loss to the leading to the lower portion of the drapery and at the decorative border. In the lower right corner of the wing and at the tail there are cracks to the glass. St. Christopher has a crack and a loss to the top left section of glass and some small cracks in the lower part of the mantel. There are losses to the leading at the lower part of the mantel and to the waist of the Child; some of these sections of lead are loose between the perspex sheets. Some lead joints are fortified with further lead sections suggesting repairs were made. We recommend professional stabilisation of this window.
