Condition

Fringes trimmed at both ends. Some loss to outer guard stripe. Remnants of guard in brown to match central ground, at one end, and remnants of new bright red guard stripe along other end and corner (as visible in photograph). Discreet blanket stitch overlocking at both ends. Both sides later overcast. Varying pile from approx. 2mm and down to knot bar in areas. Some areas of wear, as visible in photograph, as white knot bars in area top left of central motif, and as vertical strip in bottom left corner (approx. 43cm. long and 5cm. wide). Section with different colour batch to ground (as visible in photograph), approx. 40cm. x 70cm. within borders. Areas of moth damage to bottom corner of this section, for example corner section approx. 8cm. x 3cm. There is a shaped area of repiling, left of central mofif, visible as the dark brown and white shaped area (approx. 8.5cm. x 3cm.)
