STRUCTURE Original canvas PAINT SURFACE The paint surface is in good overall condition; there are traces of a discoloured varnish and a craquelure pattern. ULTRAVIOLET UV light reveals an uneven varnish but no sign of retouching. FRAME Held in a later plain, painted wooden frame in fair condition.
