Catalogue Note
With the death of I. S. Maltsov in 1880, the family's control of the Gus'-Khrustalny Glassworks was interrupted. From 1884 to 1894, the factory was operated by the government; in 1894 it became part of the joint-stock company of the Maltsov glassworks, with Yuri Stepanovich Nechaev-Maltsov being the last owner.
