Description

  • diameter: 24.8cm, 9 3/4 in.
after Carl Piratskiy, the cavetto depicting the 20th Infantry Division, the purple border decorated with a medallion containing the Imperial eagle flanked by a wreath of oak and laurel leaves, the reverse signed in Cyrillic N. Krasovskiy, with green and blue Imperial cipher of Alexander II and dated 72   

Condition

There is a tiny nick to the rim and some minor rubbing to the gilded and painted decoration, which does not detract from the overall appearance of the piece. An attractive piece in good overall condition consistent with age.
