Two porcelain soup plates from the Cameo service, Imperial Porcelain Manufactory, period of Nicholas I (1825-1855)

each painted with the floriated cipher of Empress Catherine the Great within ribbon-tied sprigs of laurel and myrtle, pale blue ground painted en grisaille with reserves of classical figures within raised gilt scrolls, both with blue Imperial cipher of Nicholas I

There is rubbing to the blue ground on both plates, but otherwise in good overall condition consistent with age.
