  • height overall: 38cm, 14 7/8 in.
the silver cover applied with a horse head and horse shoe set with square-cut rubies, dated 1890/ 1915 and inscribed To Vasilju Pavlovichu Rjabkovu in memory of 25 years of holding a position as an accountant/book-keeper of the Imperial Moscow Skakovavo Society above engraved signatures, the reed and husk border bound with circular-cut diamond-set ribbons, nephrite corners, leather binding, struck K. Fabergé in Cyrillic beneath the Imperial Warrant, partial scratched inventory number 409_, 84 standard

Condition

One nephrite corner with two breaks. The large silver panel with some dents and scratches. The leather binding with considerable time wear. The tassles fraying. It is not clear if originally there were decorative elements applied to the sides between the nephrite corners, or if the leather was meant to show as at present.
