the cavetto decorated with St George slaying the dragon, the border applied with finely moulded silver plaques depicting boyars within stylised scrolling foliage, inscribed in English and Russian: To the Representatives of the English nation to the Moscow Municipality and dated 18 January 1912, 84 standard

Condition

Very good condition. The back has been drilled for a hanging hook, and there are two additional holes nearby. The wood with some scratches. The wavy carved wood rim with minor losses with old restoration. One applied hardstone is loose.
